Warehouse Management System (WMS) Integration

Understanding the demand of your inventory is a critical component to providing recommendations about where to position product in your warehouse. Clear Slot™ integrates with your WMS or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to receive all inventory demand data. Clear Slot™ then parses the data into our database to develop and understand historical demand by SKU, location, and performance. Regardless of the WMS platform that our customers leverage, we can integrate Clear Slot™ with minimal development effort through common REST API interfaces, which reduces implementation effort and risk. After just 3 weeks of collecting inventory demand data, our solution advisors will enable the dynamic slotting feature to provide operations with recommendations on where inventory should be located to optimize operational efficiency. 

Tasks to relocate inventory to more efficient locations are automatically generated by Clear Slot™. 

Recommendations and Automated Task Generation

Once Clear Slot’s™ dynamic slotting feature is enabled, any user that is provided access to our web application will be notified of the recommended inventory adjustments required to increase operational efficiency. Users have the ability to receive recommendations either weekly, daily, per shift, or hourly based on the demand. Once the user is notified of recommended inventory adjustments they have the ability to select whether they agree or disagree. If they agree, then Clear Slot™ will automatically create a task for an operator to make the inventory adjustments recommended. 

Machine Learning and Data Analytics

Clear Slot’s™ dynamic slotting capability is powered by proprietary machine learning software. Therefore, as operations evolves, the historical data is leveraged by machine learning to make better and more informed decisions about inventory slotting. Additionally, as your warehouse layout changes, or your inventory levels fluctuate, our web application provides you the ability to modify or change your existing inventory space without ever having to contact us to enable new locations. 

Our data analytics platform, which is provided to our customer with any one of the Clarity™ Modules, provides users with historical slotting trends, inventory levels, and performance for up to three years! Allowing users to understand how inventory slotting has impacted their operations during any given time period.
